QUALITY AND PROFESSIONALISM
Polmuz, like the highest series from leading manufacturers, is treated individually, which means there can be no question of any defects or irregularities in the set. Every percussion element undergoes careful inspection upon unpacking and is checked with a keen, craftsman's eye. We strive for Polmuz to be remembered as a premium product - all shell edges must be perfectly straight and smooth, and are additionally waxed to achieve an even richer sense of professionalism and comfort. As we well know, a perfectly smooth edge brings joy and happiness during the traditional ritual of running your hand along the edge before putting on a new head, not to mention the ease of tuning the drum and perfect shell resonance. Additionally, all drum hardware is inspected because there's nothing more pleasant than smoothly screwing bolts into perfectly fitting lugs. After such thorough quality control, individual set components receive an individual sticker with serial number, date and handwritten signature confirming the high quality of the drum. If any defect or irregularity is found, the shell is manufactured again.
WARRANTY
Every Polmuz shell, after passing the quality test, receives a lifetime warranty and the hardware used in Polmuz drums receives a 3-year warranty.

FEATURES
100% maple shells
The Maple series shells are made from 6 layers of maple with a total thickness of 5 mm. The highest priority in designing Polmuz drums was sound. Balanced midrange and high tones ensure great versatility across many musical styles. The full, powerful character and rich resonance of the shells were achieved through the use of carefully selected maple layers, as well as focus on shell formation and edge shape.
Edges
The 45° edge bevel means they contact the head at the optimal point on the flat surface, making tuning incredibly simple.
Many modern companies bevel the edge so that contact with the head occurs on the rounded part of the bearing edge. This makes tuning very difficult, especially on so-called "loose" tuning.
Each edge on Polmuz drums has been sanded and additionally waxed, ensuring ideal contact between the head and shell. The result is clean tone across the full frequency range. Sharp bearing edge finishing provides fast attack with selective, expressive sustain.

Finish
The matte finish of Polmuz drums gives each set a unique look and distinctive tone. The lacquer used for finishing Maple series Polmuz drums is of the highest quality.
Tube Lug
Tube Lugs are characteristic of all Polmuz drums. The unique Tube Lug design makes them look like traditional mounts, but the lug shell "floats" above the drum shell to minimize contact with the drum. This allows the entire shell to resonate across the full range of sounds. To minimize the risk of drum slipping out of tune, each lug features a long screw that seats deeply into the lug.
Chrome hardware
All hardware on Polmuz drums is finished with a chrome plating. The beautiful appearance conveys a sense of highest quality materials used and breaks with the brand's unfortunate reputation from years past. Cast logos on Polmuz shells are a true declaration of quality and style. Made from solid brass and chrome-plated, the Polmuz nameplate is a guarantee and also a business card of the highest level of craftsmanship on every drum.
Mounting system
A non-invasive mounting system ensures maximum resonance and stability regardless of conditions. The streamlined construction makes it easy to position toms closer together, providing greater freedom and comfort. Additionally, parts made from aluminum ensure lighter weight.
Center hooks
The hooks on Polmuz set stands are equipped with rubber pads that help protect their wooden hoops from damage. In this arrangement, hooks and hoops form one cohesive unit, so they don't separate or rattle, even with loose tuning.
Heads
Polmuz or Remo Encore heads are used on the drums; Evans available for an additional fee.
Clear Polmuz thin heads are used for top and bottom resonant membranes. The batter head on the snare is a superior Polmuz fiberskin.
The membranes on snare drums also feature a wide damping collar. The resonant heads are distinguished by a characteristic vintage-style head with prominent Polmuz logo.

ABOUT THE BRAND
Polmuz - a legendary brand producing Poland's first drums, known to every drummer. The company was founded in the 1960s, with facilities located at 75/77 Grochowska Street in Warsaw. In addition to drums, Polmuz also produced percussion and wind instruments. The last drums were made in the late 1990s, after which they completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team of the specialist percussion shop DrumStore from Gdynia decided to reactivate the Polmuz brand by purchasing complete rights to its name.
Today Polmuz represents high-quality percussion sets and ethnic instruments that are in no way inferior to the best products of the competition. Bold design combined with proven solutions has made Polmuz storm not only the Polish percussion market but also the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.
