QUALITY AND PROFESSIONALISM

Polmuz, like the highest series of leading manufacturers, is treated individually, which means there can be no question of any defect or irregularity in the set. Each percussion element upon unpacking is subjected to meticulous inspection and checked with a discerning luthier's eye. We strive for Polmuz to be remembered as a premium product, all shell edges must be perfectly straight and smooth and additionally are waxed to achieve an even richer sense of professionalism and comfort. As we know well, a perfectly smooth edge releases joy and happiness during the traditional ritual of running your hand along the edge before fitting a new head, not to mention the ease of tuning the drum and perfect shell tone. Additionally, all drum hardware is checked because there is nothing more pleasant than screws screwing smoothly into perfectly fitted lugs. After such solid quality control, individual elements of the set receive individual stickers with serial number, date and handwritten signature confirming the high quality of the drum. If a defect or irregularity is discovered, the shell is manufactured anew.

WARRANTY

Each Polmuz shell, after passing the test successfully, receives lifetime warranty and the hardware used in Polmuz drums receives a 3-year warranty.

FEATURES

100% maple shells

The shells of the Maple series are made of 6 layers of maple with a total thickness of 5 mm. The highest priority in designing Polmuz drums was sound. Balanced mids and highs provide great versatility across many music styles. The full, powerful character and rich resonance of the shells was achieved through the use of carefully selected layers of maple, as well as focus on shell forming and edge shape.

Edges

Cutting the edge at a 45° angle means it contacts the head at the optimal point on the flat surface making tuning incredibly simple.

Many contemporary companies cut the edge so that contact with the head falls on the head's rounded edge. This makes tuning very difficult, especially on so-called "rags"

Each edge in Polmuz drums has been sanded and additionally waxed, ensuring optimal contact between the head and shell. The consequence of this solution is clear tone across the full frequency range. Sharp contact edge finishing means fast attack, selective and expressive sustain.

Finish

The matte finish of Polmuz drums gives each set a unique look and unconventional sound. The lacquer used for finishing Maple Polmuz drums is of the highest quality.

Tube Lug

Tube Lug style lugs are characteristic of all Polmuz drums. The unique Tube Lug construction makes them look like traditional lugs, but the lug shell "floats" above the drum so as to minimize contact with the drum. This allows the entire drum to resonate across the full range of sounds. To minimize the risk of drums going out of tune, each lug has a long screw that seats deeply into the lug.

Chrome hardware

In Polmuz drums all hardware is finished with a chrome coating. The beautiful appearance gives a sense of highest quality of materials used and breaks with the infamous reputation of the brand from years past. The cast logo on Polmuz shells is a true declaration of quality and style. Made of solid brass and chrome-plated, the Polmuz nameplate is a guarantee and also the calling card of the highest level of execution of each drum.

Mounting system

A non-invasive mounting system ensures maximum resonance and stability regardless of conditions. The streamlined design makes it easy to position toms closer together, providing greater freedom and comfort. Additionally, parts made of aluminum ensure lighter weight.

Center hooks

The hooks in Polmuz set stands are equipped with rubber pads that help protect wooden hoops from damage. In this arrangement, hooks and hoops form one cohesive whole so they don't separate or rattle, even with loose tuning.

Heads

Polmuz or Remo Encore struck heads are used in the drums, Evans possible with surcharge.

TT and FT resonant membranes are thin Polmuz Clear. Center reso is excellent emitting Polmuz fiberskin.

Center membranes additionally have a wide dampening collar. Resonant heads, on the other hand, are distinguished by a characteristic vintage-style head with distinctive Polmuz logo.
