QUALITY AND PROFESSIONALISM
Polmuz, like the highest series of leading manufacturers, is treated individually, which means there can be no question of any defect or irregularity in the set. Each drum element after unpacking is subjected to meticulous inspection and checked by a careful, soldering eye. We strive for Polmuz to be remembered as a premium product - all shell edges must be perfectly straight and smooth and are additionally waxed to achieve an even richer sense of professionalism and comfort. As we well know, a perfectly smooth edge releases joy and happiness during the traditional ritual of sliding your hand along the edge before putting on a new head, not to mention the ease of drum tuning and the perfect sound of the shell. Additionally, all drum hardware is checked because there is nothing more pleasant than smoothly screwing screws into perfectly fitted lugs. After such thorough quality control, individual set elements receive an individual sticker with a serial number, date and handwritten signature confirming the high quality of the drum. If a defect or irregularity is found, the shell is made again.
WARRANTY
Each Polmuz shell, after passing the test, receives a lifetime warranty and the hardware used in Polmuz drums receives a 3-year warranty.

FEATURES
100% maple shells
The Maple series shells are made from 6 layers of maple with a total thickness of 5 mm. The highest priority in designing Polmuz drums was sound. Balanced mids and highs provide great versatility in many music styles. The full, powerful character and rich resonance of the shells was achieved through the use of carefully selected maple layers, as well as focusing on shell forming and edge shape.
Edges
The 45° edge bevel means that they contact the head at the optimal point on the flat surface, making tuning incredibly simple.
Many modern companies bevel the edge so that contact with the head occurs on the head's rounded bearing. This makes tuning very difficult, especially on so-called "cloth" heads
Each edge in Polmuz drums has been sanded and additionally waxed, ensuring optimal contact between the head and the shell. The consequence of this solution is clean sound across the full frequency range. Sharp bearing edge finishing provides quick attack, selective and expressive ring-out.

Finish
The matte finish of Polmuz drums gives each set a unique look and distinctive sound. The lacquer used to finish Maple series Polmuz drums is of the highest quality.
Tube Lug
Tube Lug style lugs are characteristic of all Polmuz drums. The unique Tube Lug construction makes them look like traditional mounts, but the lug shell "floats" above the shell to minimize contact with the drum. This allows the entire assembly to resonate across the full range of sounds. To minimize the risk of drum detuning, each has a long screw that sits deep in the lug.
Chromated hardware
In Polmuz drums, all hardware is finished with a chrome plating. The beautiful appearance conveys a sense of highest quality materials used and breaks with the brand's disreputable reputation from years past. The cast logo on Polmuz shells is a true declaration of quality and style. Made of solid brass and chrome-plated, the Polmuz inscription is a guarantee and also a calling card of the highest level of workmanship of each drum.
Mounting system
A non-invasive mounting system ensures maximum resonance and stability regardless of conditions. The streamlined construction makes it easy to position toms closer together, providing greater freedom and comfort. Additionally, parts made from aluminum ensure lighter weight.
Center hooks
The hooks in Polmuz set stands are equipped with rubber pads that help protect their wooden hoops from damage. In this arrangement, the hooks and hoops form one coherent whole, so they don't separate or rattle, even with loose tuning.
Heads
Polmuz or Remo Encore heads are used in the drums, Evans available for an additional fee.
Membrane TT and FT resonant are thin Polmuz Clear. Resonant on the center is an excellent emitting Polmuz fiberskin.
The center membranes additionally have a wide muffling collar. Meanwhile, resonant heads are distinguished by a characteristic head in vintage style with a distinct Polmuz logo.

ABOUT THE BRAND
Polmuz - a legendary brand producing the first Polish drums, known to every percussionist. The company was founded in the 1960s, and its plants were located at 75/77 Grochowska Street in Warsaw. In addition to drums, Polmuz also produced percussion instruments and wind instruments. The last drums were made in the late 90s, after which they completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team of the specialist percussion shop DrumStore from Gdynia decided to reactivate the Polmuz brand by purchasing complete rights to its name.
Today Polmuz is a high-quality percussion set and ethnic instruments that are in no way inferior to the best products of the competition. Bold design combined with proven solutions have made Polmuz rapidly conquering not only the Polish percussion market, but also the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.
