QUALITY AND PROFESSIONALISM
Polmuz, like the highest series of leading manufacturers, is treated individually, which means there can be no question of any defect or irregularity in the set. Each percussion element upon unpacking is subjected to careful inspection and checked with a discerning, soldering eye. We strive for Polmuz to be remembered as a premium product - all shell edges must be perfectly straight and smooth and are additionally waxed to achieve an even richer sense of professionalism and comfort. As we know well, a perfectly smooth edge releases joy and happiness during the traditional ritual of running your hand along the edge before fitting a new head, not to mention the ease of tuning the drum and the perfect sound of the shell. Additionally, all drum hardware is checked because there is nothing more pleasant than smoothly screwing bolts into perfectly fitted lugs. After such solid quality control, individual elements of the set receive an individual sticker with a serial number, date and handwritten signature confirming the high quality of the drum. If a defect or irregularity is detected, the shell is manufactured again.
WARRANTY
Every Polmuz shell, after successfully passing testing, receives a lifetime warranty and the hardware used in Polmuz drums receives a 3-year warranty.

FEATURES
100% maple shells
The shells of the Maple series are made from 6 layers of maple with a total thickness of 5 mm. The highest priority when designing Polmuz drums was sound. Balanced mid and high tones ensure great versatility across many musical styles. Full, powerful character and rich resonance of the shells was achieved through the use of carefully selected maple layers, as well as focus on shell forming and edge shaping.
Edges
The 45° edge cut means they contact the head at the optimal point on the flat surface, making tuning incredibly simple.
Many modern companies cut the edge so that it contacts the head on the head's curve. This makes tuning very difficult, especially on soft heads.
Each edge in Polmuz drums has been sanded and additionally waxed, ensuring optimal head-to-shell contact. The consequence of this solution is clean tone across the full frequency range. Sharp finishing of the contact edge results in quick attack, selective and expressive tone.

Finish
The matte finish of Polmuz drums gives each set a unique look and distinctive tone. The lacquer used on Maple Polmuz drums is of the highest quality.
Tube Lug
Tube Lugs are characteristic of all Polmuz drums. The unique Tube Lug design makes them look like traditional mounts, but the lug shell "floats" above the drum so as to minimize contact with the drum. This allows the entire drum to resonate across the full range of sounds. To minimize the risk of drums going out of tune, each one has a long screw that sits deep in the lug.
Chrome hardware
In Polmuz drums, all hardware is finished with a chrome coating. The beautiful appearance gives a sense of the highest quality of materials used and breaks with the brand's disreputable reputation from years past. The cast logo on Polmuz shells is a true declaration of quality and style. Made from solid brass and chrome-plated, the Polmuz lettering is a guarantee and signature of the highest level of craftsmanship in each drum.
Mounting system
A non-invasive mounting system ensures maximum resonance and stability regardless of conditions. The streamlined design makes it easy to position toms closer together, providing greater freedom and comfort. Additionally, parts made from aluminum ensure lower weight.
Center stands
The hooks on Polmuz set stands are equipped with rubber pads that help protect their wooden hoops from damage. In this arrangement, the hooks and hoops form one cohesive unit, so they don't separate or rattle, even with loose tuning.
Heads
The drums are fitted with Polmuz or Remo Encore heads, Evans available for an additional charge.
TT and FT resonant heads are thin Polmuz Clear. The center reso is an excellent Polmuz fiberskin head.
Center heads additionally feature a wide dampening collar. The resonant heads are distinguished by a characteristic vintage-style head with a distinct Polmuz logo.

ABOUT THE BRAND
Polmuz - the legendary brand producing the first Polish drums, known to every drummer. The company was founded in the 1960s, and its facilities were located at Grochowska 75/77 Street in Warsaw. Besides drums, Polmuz also produced cymbals and wind instruments. The last drums were produced in the late 1990s and subsequently disappeared completely from the market. In 2018, the team from the specialized percussion shop DrumStore in Gdynia decided to reactivate the Polmuz brand by purchasing full rights to its name.
Today Polmuz is a high-quality percussion set and ethnic instruments that are in no way inferior to the best products of the competition. Bold design combined with proven solutions has made Polmuz storm not only the Polish percussion market, but also the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.
