B20 ALLOY

The cymbals are forged from B20 bronze, an alloy of copper and tin with a proportion of 80/20. Cymbals made from B20 are characterized by rich, dark and warm sound. The high tin content makes the material harder.

B20 bronze is used in the production of the highest series of cymbals by manufacturers such as Sabian, Zildjian and Meinl. Undoubtedly, it is the best alloy for the production of percussion cymbals.

FINISH

The Navalia series features a hybrid finish. The bell and its surroundings, up to half the diameter, are finished in high polish. The remaining surface towards the edge is finished traditionally with subtle hammer marks, while the edge itself is darkened in a manner characteristic of the Polmuz brand. The visible hammer marks on the bottom immediately suggest that we are dealing with true, handcrafted production.

This type of finish ensures that the Navalia series cymbals not only sound great but also look stunning.

HAMMERING METHOD

Each cymbal is additionally hammered during production. This adds character and the sound becomes more sandy, significantly gaining in depth.

CYMBAL EDGES (DARKENED)

Polmuz cymbals feature a distinctive darkening on the edges. Thanks to this, the cymbals achieve full sound without the need for excessive striking force.

Each cymbal (except splash) is covered by a unique warranty. Unlike other manufacturers, Polmuz only needs a photo of the defect. If your cymbal cracks, you send us its photo and our staff will take care of the rest.

Polmuz ensures that during the complaint process the user does not have to part with their product. Until the new cymbal is shipped, you can continue using your favorite Polmuz cymbal.

ABOUT THE BRAND

Polmuz - a legendary brand producing the first Polish drums, known to every drummer. The company was founded in the 1960s and its facilities were located at Grochowska Street 75/77 in Warsaw. Besides drums, Polmuz also produced percussion accessories and wind instruments. The last drums were produced in the late 1990s and subsequently completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team of the specialist drum shop DrumStore from Gdynia decided to revive the Polmuz brand by purchasing complete rights to its name.
