Crash Polmuz Navalia 17" is a cymbal that can definitely be recommended to any drummer playing pop/rock music. Especially to those looking for a solid cymbal with a bright tone, quick attack, and full opening.
The wide range of sound spans from full, bright and deep expression to a glassy sound.
The cymbals are medium thickness, making them very versatile. They will certainly find application in most musical styles.
B20 ALLOY
The cymbals are forged from B20 bronze, an alloy of copper and tin with a proportion of 80/20. Cymbals made from B20 are characterized by a rich, dark and warm tone. The high tin content makes the material harder.
B20 bronze is used in the production of the highest series of cymbals by manufacturers such as Sabian, Zildjian and Meinl. Without a doubt, it is the best alloy for the production of percussion cymbals.
FINISH
The Navalia series features a hybrid finish. The bell and its surrounding area, up to half the diameter, are finished with a high polish. The remaining surface towards the edge features a traditional finish with subtle hammer marks, while the edge itself is darkened in a characteristic manner for the Polmuz brand. The visible hammer marks on the underside immediately suggest that we are dealing with authentic, handcrafted production.

This type of processing ensures that cymbals from the Navalia series not only sound great but also look stunning.
FORGING METHOD
Each cymbal was additionally reforged during production. This adds character, and the sound becomes more complex and gains significant depth.
CYMBAL EDGES (DARKENED)
Cymbals from Polmuz are uniquely darkened at the edges. Thanks to this, the cymbals achieve full sound without the need for excessive striking force.
THICKNESS
Crash Polmuz Navalia 17" is medium weight, making this cymbal very versatile. It works great in the recording studio as well as in popular and rock music, where well-defined sounding cymbals are needed.
PRODUCTION
The cymbals are entirely handmade in our manufactory in Turkey. Hence the unique character of each cymbal. This country has a long-standing tradition in cymbal production. ABOUT THE BRAND
Polmuz - a legendary brand producing the first Polish drums, known to every drummer. The company was founded in the 1960s, and its facilities were located at Grochowska Street 75/77 in Warsaw. Besides drums, Polmuz also produced percussion instruments and wind instruments. The last drums were made in the late 1990s, after which they completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team of the specialist drum shop DrumStore from Gdynia decided to reactivate the Polmuz brand by purchasing complete rights to its name.
Currently Polmuz produces high-quality drum kits and ethnic instruments that are no different from the best competition products. Bold design combined with proven solutions has made Polmuz rapidly conquer not only the Polish percussion market, but also the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.
