Hi-hat Polmuz Navalia 14" is a cymbal that can definitely be recommended to any drummer playing pop/rock music. Especially to those looking for a solid cymbal with a bright tone, quick attack and full opening.

A wide range of sound is contained between full, bright and deep expression and a glassy sound.

The cymbals are medium thickness, making them very versatile. They will definitely find application in most music styles.

B20 Alloy

The cymbals are forged from B20 bronze, an alloy of copper and tin with a proportion of 80/20. Cymbals made from B20 are characterized by rich, dark and warm sound. High tin content makes the material harder.

B20 bronze is used in the production of the highest series of cymbals by manufacturers such as Sabian, Zildjian and Meinl. Without a doubt, it is the best alloy for producing percussion cymbals.

Specification:

  • hi-hat
  • size 14"
  • thickness: medium
  • material: B20 bronze
  • finish: polish/traditional

Finish

The Navalia series has a hybrid finish. The bell of the top cymbal and its surrounding area, up to half the diameter, is finished with high polish. The remaining surface towards the edge is finished traditionally with slight hammer marks, while the edge itself is darkened in a way characteristic of the Polmuz brand.

The bottom cymbal is finished with high polish in Raw style, which adds selectivity to it. Meanwhile, the hammer marks visible across the entire cymbal immediately suggest that we are dealing with true, artisanal production.

This type of finish makes the cymbals from the Navalia series not only sound great, but also look stunning.

Hammering Method

Each cymbal has been additionally hammered during production. This adds character, and the sound becomes more textured and gains significantly in depth.

Cymbal Edges (darkened)

Polmuz cymbals are darkened in an original way at the edges. Thanks to this, the cymbals achieve full sound, without the need for excessive striking force.

Thickness

Hi-hat Polmuz Navalia 14" is medium weight, which makes this cymbal very versatile. It will work great in a recording studio as well as in popular and rock music, where well-defined sounding cymbals are needed.

Production

The cymbals are made entirely by hand in our manufactory in Turkey. Hence the unique character of each cymbal. This country has a long tradition in cymbal manufacturing. For years, they have been valued for their original production process, quality, and most importantly – reasonable prices. It is no wonder that these instruments are considered among the best in the world.

Warranty

Each cymbal (except splash) is covered by a unique warranty. Unlike other manufacturers, Polmuz only needs a photo of the defect. If your cymbal cracks, you send us a photo of it, and our employees will take care of the rest.

Polmuz ensures that during the warranty process, the user does not have to part with their product. While waiting for the new cymbal to be sent, you can continue to use your favorite Polmuz cymbal.

Quality and Professionalism

Polmuz, like the highest series from leading manufacturers, is treated individually, meaning there can be no compromise or defect in the drum set. Each percussion element undergoes careful inspection upon unpacking and is checked with a discerning, professional eye. We strive for Polmuz to be recognized as a premium product - all shell edges must be perfectly straight and smooth, and are additionally waxed to provide an even greater sense of professionalism and comfort. As we well know, a perfectly smooth edge brings joy and satisfaction during the traditional ritual of running your hand along the edge before installing a new head, not to mention the ease of tuning the drum and the perfect sound of the shell. Additionally, all drum hardware is checked because there is nothing more pleasant than smoothly threading screws into perfectly fitted lugs. After such thorough quality control, individual components of the set receive a sticker with a serial number, date, and a handwritten signature confirming the drum's high quality. Should any defect or irregularity be found, the shell is manufactured anew.

About the Polmuz Brand

Polmuz - a legendary brand producing the first Polish drums, known to every percussionist. The company was founded in the 1960s, and its facilities were located at 75/77 Grochowska Street in Warsaw. Besides drums, Polmuz also produced percussion accessories and wind instruments. The last drums were manufactured in the late 1990s, after which they completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team from the specialist percussion shop DrumStore in Gdynia decided to revive the Polmuz brand by acquiring full rights to its name.

Today, Polmuz produces high-quality drum sets and ethnic instruments that are in no way inferior to the best products from competitors. Bold design combined with proven solutions has allowed Polmuz to rapidly conquer not only the Polish percussion market, but also the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.
