B20 ALLOY

The cymbals are cast from B20 bronze, an alloy of copper and tin with a ratio of 80/20. Cymbals made from B20 are characterized by rich, dark and warm sound. The high tin content makes the material harder.

B20 bronze is used for production of the highest series of cymbals by manufacturers such as Sabian, Zildjian and Meinl. Without a doubt, it is the best alloy for the production of percussion cymbals.

FINISH

The Navalia series has been finished in a hybrid way. The bell and its surrounding area, up to half the diameter, are finished in high polish. The remaining surface towards the edge is finished traditionally with slight hammer marks, while the edge itself is darkened in a manner characteristic of the Polmuz brand. The visible hammer marks on the bottom immediately suggest that we are dealing with true, handcrafted production.

This type of processing makes cymbals from the Navalia series not only sound great, but also look stunning.

HAMMERING METHOD

Each cymbal has been additionally hand-hammered during production. This adds character, and the sound becomes more complex and gains significantly in depth.

CYMBAL EDGES (DARKENED)

The Navalia cymbals have been uniquely darkened on the edges. This allows the cymbals to achieve full sound without requiring excessive striking force.

WARRANTY

Each cymbal (except splash) is covered by a unique warranty. Unlike other manufacturers, Polmuz only needs a photo of the defect. If your cymbal cracks, you send us a photo of it, and our staff will take care of the rest.

Polmuz ensures that during the warranty claim process, the user does not have to part with their product. While we send you a replacement cymbal, you can continue using your favorite Polmuz cymbal.

ABOUT THE BRAND

Polmuz - a legendary brand producing the first Polish drums, known to every drummer. The company was founded in the 1960s, and its facilities were located at Grochowska Street 75/77 in Warsaw. Besides drums, Polmuz also produced percussion instruments and wind instruments. The last drums were made in the late 1990s, and then completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team of the specialist drum shop DrumStore from Gdynia decided to reactivate the Polmuz brand by purchasing complete rights to its name.
