QUALITY AND PROFESSIONALISM

Polmuz, like the highest series of leading manufacturers, is treated individually, which means there can be no question of any defect or irregularity in the set. Each percussion element is subjected to meticulous inspection after unpacking and checked with a keen, lutier's eye. We strive to make Polmuz remembered as a premium product, all shell edges must be perfectly straight and smooth and additionally waxed to achieve an even richer sense of professionalism and comfort. As we know well, a perfectly smooth edge releases joy and happiness during the traditional ceremony of running your hand along the edge before installing a new head, not to mention the ease of tuning the drum and the perfect sound of the shell. Additionally, all drum hardware is checked because there is nothing more pleasant than screws winding smoothly into perfectly fitted lugs. After such solid quality control, individual set components receive a custom sticker with a serial number, date and hand-signed signature confirming the high quality of the drum. If a defect or irregularity is detected, the shell is made again.

WARRANTY

Each Polmuz shell, after passing the test positively, receives a lifetime warranty and the hardware used in Polmuz drums receives a 3-year warranty.

FEATURES

Pine

The NEW ZELAND PINE series shells are made of 6 layers Pine/Maple/Pine with a total thickness of 7.3 mm, The highest priority when designing Polmuz drums was sound. The percussion was made from wood that is visually and sonically interesting. The kick drum has a prominent bass and pleasant melodic rumble. Total firecracker. Toms with rich and warm sound.

Edges

The 45° edge cut means they contact the head at the optimal point. Each edge in Polmuz drums has been sanded and additionally waxed, ensuring ideal contact between the head and the shell. The consequence of this solution is clean sound across the full frequency range. Sharp edge finishing at the contact point in toms provides quick attack and short sustain, while a rounded edge in kick drums generates unique and warm vintage sound.

Finish

The matte finish of Polmuz drums gives each set a unique look and unconventional sound. The wax applied to finish Polmuz drums is of the highest quality.

Tube Lug

Tube Lug lugs are characteristic of all Polmuz drums. The unique Tube Lug design makes them look like traditional mounts, but the lug shell "floats" above the shell to minimize contact with the drum. This allows the whole thing to resonate across the full range of sounds. To minimize the risk of drums going out of tune, each lug has a long screw that seats deep in it. Additionally, each lug has double protection in the form of washers - metal and nylon - which guarantee tuning stability.

Chrome hardware

In Polmuz drums all hardware is finished with a chrome plating. The beautiful look gives a sense of highest quality applied materials and breaks with the brand's unsavory reputation from years past. The cast logo on Polmuz shells is a true declaration of quality and style. Made of solid brass, the chrome-plated Polmuz inscription is a guarantee and business card of the highest level of craftsmanship in each drum.

Mounting system

The non-invasive mounting system ensures maximum resonance and stability regardless of conditions. The streamlined design makes it easier to position toms closer together, providing greater freedom and comfort. Additionally, parts made of aluminum ensure lighter weight.

Bass drum lugs

The lugs on Polmuz set bass drums are equipped with rubber pads that help protect their wooden rims from damage. In this arrangement, the lugs and rim form one cohesive whole so they don't separate or rattle, even with loose tuning.

Heads

Transparent, single-ply high-quality batter heads are used on the drums.

The membranes on the kick drums additionally have a wide damping collar. On the other hand, resonant heads are distinguished by a characteristic vintage-style head with a distinctive Polmuz logo.
