Hi-Hat Polmuz Pomerania 14" is a very classic cymbal that will find its enthusiasts in every music genre. From jazz, through pop, to rock. This cymbal will work really everywhere!

A wide range of sound spans between a dark, sandy tone and a full, bright expression.

The cymbal is medium thickness. Its weight makes it a great proposition for any undecided drummer looking for a versatile cymbal.

B20 Alloy

The cymbals were forged from B20 bronze, an alloy of copper and tin with a 80/20 ratio. Cymbals made from B20 are characterized by a rich, dark and warm sound. High tin content makes the material harder.

B20 bronze is used in the production of the highest cymbal series by manufacturers such as Sabian, Zildjian and Meinl. Without a doubt, it is the best alloy for the production of percussion cymbals.

Specification:

  • hi-hat
  • size 14"
  • thickness: medium
  • material: B20 bronze
  • finish: traditional

Finish

The Pomerania series has been finished in a traditional way. Visible traces of more intense hammering immediately suggest that we are dealing with genuine, handcrafted production. The entire cymbal surface has been additionally lathed.

This type of processing makes cymbals from the Pomerania series not only sound great, but also look absolutely stunning.

Forging Method

Each cymbal was additionally hand-forged during production. This adds character and the sound becomes sandier and significantly gains in depth.

Cymbal Edges

Polmuz cymbals have had their edges uniquely tapered. Thanks to this, the cymbals achieve full sound without the need for excessive striking force.

Thickness

Polmuz Pomerania Hi-Hat 14" is medium weight, which makes this cymbal very versatile. It works perfectly in most music styles.

Production

The cymbals were created entirely by hand in our manufactory in Turkey. This is where the unique character of each cymbal comes from. This country has a long-standing tradition in cymbal manufacturing. For years they have been valued for their original production process, quality, and most importantly – reasonable price. It is no wonder that these instruments are considered among the best in the world.

Warranty

Each cymbal (except splashes) is covered by a unique warranty. Unlike other manufacturers, Polmuz only needs a photo of the defect. If your cymbal cracks, you send us its photo and our staff will take care of the rest.

Polmuz ensures that during the warranty claim review, you don't have to part with your product. Until the new cymbal is shipped, you can still use your favorite Polmuz cymbal.

Quality and Professionalism

Polmuz, like the highest series from leading manufacturers, is treated individually, meaning there can be no compromise or defect in the drum set. Each percussion element undergoes careful inspection upon unpacking and is checked with a discerning, professional eye. We strive for Polmuz to be recognized as a premium product - all shell edges must be perfectly straight and smooth, and are additionally waxed to provide an even greater sense of professionalism and comfort. As we well know, a perfectly smooth edge brings joy and satisfaction during the traditional ritual of running your hand along the edge before installing a new head, not to mention the ease of tuning the drum and the perfect sound of the shell. Additionally, all drum hardware is checked because there is nothing more pleasant than smoothly threading screws into perfectly fitted lugs. After such thorough quality control, individual components of the set receive a sticker with a serial number, date, and a handwritten signature confirming the drum's high quality. Should any defect or irregularity be found, the shell is manufactured anew.

About the Polmuz Brand

Polmuz - a legendary brand producing the first Polish drums, known to every percussionist. The company was founded in the 1960s, and its facilities were located at 75/77 Grochowska Street in Warsaw. Besides drums, Polmuz also produced percussion accessories and wind instruments. The last drums were manufactured in the late 1990s, after which they completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team from the specialist percussion shop DrumStore in Gdynia decided to revive the Polmuz brand by acquiring full rights to its name.

Today, Polmuz produces high-quality drum sets and ethnic instruments that are in no way inferior to the best products from competitors. Bold design combined with proven solutions has allowed Polmuz to rapidly conquer not only the Polish percussion market, but also the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.
