Ride Polmuz Rudis Thin 21" is a cymbal that will be loved by those who appreciate warm, light yet well-defined sound. The entire Rudis series is finished with a raw aesthetic, and characteristic hammer marks add plenty of character to the appearance.

A wide range of tones spans from a sandy sound to a full, dark expression.

The cymbal is quite thin and therefore light. Its weight makes it an excellent choice for drummers who prefer lighter musical genres such as jazz, fusion, or indie rock.

B20 Bronze

The cymbals are crafted from B20 bronze, an alloy of copper and tin with a ratio of 80/20. Cymbals made from B20 are characterized by a rich, dark, and warm tone. The high tin content makes the material harder.

B20 bronze is used in the production of the highest cymbal series by manufacturers such as Sabian, Zildjian, and Meinl. Without question, it is the best alloy for the production of percussion cymbals.

Finish

The Polmuz Rudis model features a raw finish. It immediately suggests that you are dealing with authentic, handcrafted production. The cymbal surface has been re-hammered, and the slightly rusty color only emphasizes its aggressive character.

This processing method ensures that cymbals from the Rudis series not only sound great but also look stunning.

Forging Method

Each cymbal has been additionally forged during production. This adds character, the sound becomes sandier and gains significantly in depth.

Cymbal Edges (lathed)

Polmuz cymbals are lathed in an original way on the edges. This allows the cymbals to achieve a full sound without the need for excessive striking force.

Thickness

Ride Polmuz Rudis Thin 21" features relatively light cymbals, and consequently thin ones. The weight makes it an ideal choice for musicians who prefer lighter musical genres such as jazz, fusion, or indie rock.

Production

The cymbals are entirely handmade in our manufactory in Turkey. This is why each cymbal has a unique character. This country has a long-standing tradition in cymbal manufacturing. For years, they have been valued for their original production process, quality, and most importantly – reasonable prices. It is no wonder these instruments are considered among the best in the world.

Warranty

Each cymbal (except splash cymbals) is covered by a unique warranty. Unlike other manufacturers, Polmuz only needs a photo of the defect. If your cymbal cracks, you send us a photo and our team will handle the rest.

Polmuz ensures that during the warranty claim process, the user does not have to part with their product. Until the new cymbal is shipped, you can continue using your favorite Polmuz cymbal.

Quality and Professionalism

Polmuz, like the highest series from leading manufacturers, is treated individually, meaning there can be no compromise or defect in the drum set. Each percussion element undergoes careful inspection upon unpacking and is checked with a discerning, professional eye. We strive for Polmuz to be recognized as a premium product - all shell edges must be perfectly straight and smooth, and are additionally waxed to provide an even greater sense of professionalism and comfort. As we well know, a perfectly smooth edge brings joy and satisfaction during the traditional ritual of running your hand along the edge before installing a new head, not to mention the ease of tuning the drum and the perfect sound of the shell. Additionally, all drum hardware is checked because there is nothing more pleasant than smoothly threading screws into perfectly fitted lugs. After such thorough quality control, individual components of the set receive a sticker with a serial number, date, and a handwritten signature confirming the drum's high quality. Should any defect or irregularity be found, the shell is manufactured anew.

About the Polmuz Brand

Polmuz - a legendary brand producing the first Polish drums, known to every percussionist. The company was founded in the 1960s, and its facilities were located at 75/77 Grochowska Street in Warsaw. Besides drums, Polmuz also produced percussion accessories and wind instruments. The last drums were manufactured in the late 1990s, after which they completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team from the specialist percussion shop DrumStore in Gdynia decided to revive the Polmuz brand by acquiring full rights to its name.

Today, Polmuz produces high-quality drum sets and ethnic instruments that are in no way inferior to the best products from competitors. Bold design combined with proven solutions has allowed Polmuz to rapidly conquer not only the Polish percussion market, but also the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.
