QUALITY AND PROFESSIONALISM
Polmuz, like the top series of leading manufacturers, is treated individually, which means there can be no question of any defects or irregularities in the set. Each percussion element upon unpacking undergoes meticulous inspection and is checked with a keen, lutier's eye. We strive for Polmuz to be perceived as a premium product - all shell edges must be perfectly straight and smooth and are additionally waxed to provide an even richer sense of professionalism and comfort. As we know well, a perfectly smooth edge brings joy and happiness during the traditional ritual of running your hand along the edge before fitting a new head, not to mention the ease of tuning the drum and the perfect shell tone. Additionally, all drum hardware is checked because there's nothing more pleasant than smoothly screwing in bolts into perfectly fitted lugs. After such thorough quality control, individual set components receive a custom sticker with serial number, date and handwritten signature confirming the high quality of the drum. In case of any defect or irregularity, the shell is remade.
WARRANTY
Each Polmuz shell, after passing the test successfully, receives a lifetime warranty and the hardware used in Polmuz drums receives a 3-year warranty.

FEATURES
100% maple shells
The Maple series shells are made from 6 maple plies with a total thickness of 5 mm. Sound was the highest priority when designing Polmuz drums. Balanced midrange and high tones ensure great versatility across many musical styles. The full, powerful character and rich resonance of the shells was achieved through the use of carefully selected maple plies, as well as focus on shell forming and edge shape.
Edges
The 45° angle cut of the edges allows them to contact the head at the optimal point on the flat surface, making tuning incredibly simple.
Many modern companies cut the edge so that contact with the head falls on the rounded part of the head. This makes tuning very difficult, especially on what's called a "rag"
Each edge in Polmuz drums has been sanded and additionally waxed, ensuring perfect contact between head and shell. The result is clear sound across the full frequency range. Sharp edge finish at the contact point provides quick attack and selective, distinct sustain.

Finish
The matte finish of Polmuz drums gives each set a unique look and distinctive tone. The lacquer used for the finish of Maple series Polmuz drums is of the highest quality.
Tube Lug
Tube Lug style lugs are characteristic of all Polmuz drums. The unique Tube Lug design makes them look like traditional mounts, but the lug shell "floats" above the drum shell to minimize contact with the drum. This allows the whole drum to resonate across its full range. To minimize the risk of drums going out of tune, each lug has a long screw that sits deep in the lug. Additionally, each has double protection in the form of washers - metal and nylon - which guarantee tuning stability.
Chrome hardware
In Polmuz drums all hardware is finished with a chrome plating. The beautiful appearance gives a sense of highest quality materials used and breaks with the brand's unfortunate reputation from years past. The cast logo on Polmuz shells is a true declaration of quality and style. Made from solid brass and chrome-plated, the Polmuz nameplate is a guarantee and a calling card of the highest level of craftsmanship in each drum.
Mounting system
A non-invasive mounting system ensures maximum resonance and stability regardless of conditions. The streamlined construction makes it easy to position toms close together, providing greater freedom and comfort. Additionally, parts made from aluminum ensure lower weight.
Center hooks
Hooks in Polmuz set stands are fitted with rubber pads that help protect wooden rims from damage. In this arrangement, hooks and rims form one cohesive unit so they don't separate or rattle, even at loose tunings.
Heads
Evans heads are used in the drums. G2 clear on toms and floors and Emad on BD. Any Evans heads can be ordered for the set.
TT and FT resonant heads are thin Polmuz Clear. Resonant head on snare is excellent Polmuz fiberskin. Snare heads additionally feature a wide damping collar. Resonant heads are distinguished by a characteristic vintage-style head with distinctive Polmuz logo.

ABOUT THE BRAND
Polmuz - legendary brand producing the first Polish drums, known to every drummer. The company was founded in the 1960s, and its facilities were located at Grochowska 75/77 in Warsaw. Besides drums, Polmuz also produced percussion instruments and wind instruments. The last drums were made in the late 1990s, after which they completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team of the specialist percussion shop DrumStore from Gdynia decided to reactivate the Polmuz brand by purchasing full rights to its name.
Today Polmuz produces high-quality drum sets and ethnic instruments, in no way inferior to the best competitors' products. Bold design combined with proven solutions have made Polmuz storm not only the Polish drum market, but also the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.
