QUALITY AND PROFESSIONALISM
Polmuz, like the highest series of leading manufacturers, is treated individually, which means there can be no question of any defects or irregularities in the set. Each percussion element upon unpacking is subject to meticulous inspection and checked with a discerning luthier's eye. We strive for Polmuz to be remembered as a premium product - all shell edges must be perfectly straight and smooth and are additionally waxed to achieve an even greater sense of professionalism and comfort. As we well know, a perfectly smooth edge brings joy and happiness during the traditional ritual of running your hand along the edge before fitting a new head, not to mention the ease of tuning the drum and the ideal sound of the shell. Additionally, all drum hardware is checked because there is nothing more pleasant than screws that turn smoothly into perfectly fitted lugs. After such solid quality control, individual elements of the set receive an individual sticker with a serial number, date and handwritten signature confirming the high quality of the drum. If any defect or irregularity is detected, the shell is made again.
WARRANTY
Each Polmuz shell, after passing the test successfully, receives a lifetime warranty and the hardware used in Polmuz drums receives a 3-year warranty.

FEATURES
100% maple shells
The shells of the Maple series are made of 6 layers of maple with a total thickness of 5 mm. The highest priority in designing Polmuz drums was sound. Balanced mid and high tones provide great versatility in many music styles. The full, powerful character and rich resonance of the shells was achieved through the use of carefully selected maple layers, as well as attention to shell forming and edge shaping.
Edges
The 45° angle cut on the edges means they contact the head at the optimal point on the flat surface, making tuning incredibly simple.
Many modern companies cut the edge so that the head contact falls on the rounded area of the head. This makes tuning very difficult, especially on so-called "rag" tuning.
Each edge on Polmuz drums has been sanded and additionally waxed, ensuring ideal contact between the head and shell. The consequence of this solution is clean sound across the full frequency range. Sharp edge finish at the contact point provides quick attack, selective and expressive tone projection.

Finish
The matte finish on Polmuz drums gives each set a unique look and distinctive sound. The lacquer used on the Maple series Polmuz drums is of the highest quality.
Tube Lug
Tube Lug lugs are characteristic of all Polmuz drums. The unique Tube Lug design makes them look like traditional mounts, but the lug shell "floats" above the drum shell to minimize contact with the drum. This allows the entire set to resonate across the full range of sounds. To minimize the risk of drums going out of tune, each lug has a long screw that seats deeply into it. Additionally, each has double protection in the form of washers - metal and nylon - which guarantee tuning stability.
Chrome hardware
All hardware on Polmuz drums is finished with a chrome plating. The beautiful appearance gives a sense of the highest quality of the materials used and breaks with the brand's notorious reputation from years past. The cast logo on Polmuz shells is a true declaration of quality and style. Made of solid brass and chrome-plated, the Polmuz nameplate is a guarantee and also a calling card of the highest level of craftsmanship of each drum.
Mounting system
A non-intrusive mounting system ensures maximum resonance and stability regardless of conditions. The streamlined design makes it easy to position toms closer together, providing greater freedom and comfort. Additionally, parts made of aluminum ensure lighter weight.
Center hooks
The hooks in the center stands of Polmuz sets are equipped with rubber pads that help protect their wooden rims from damage. In this arrangement, the hooks and rims form one cohesive unit so they don't separate or rattle, even with loose tuning.
Heads
Evans heads are used in the drums. G2 clear on toms and floors and Emad on BD. Any Evans heads can be ordered for the set.
TT and FT resonant heads are thin Polmuz Clear. The reso head on the center is an excellent Polmuz fiberskin head. The heads on the center additionally feature a wide dampening collar. The resonant heads are distinguished by a characteristic vintage-style head with a clear Polmuz logo.

ABOUT THE BRAND
Polmuz - a legendary brand that produced Poland's first drums, known to every percussionist. The company was founded in the 1960s, and its factories were located at 75/77 Grochowska Street in Warsaw. In addition to drums, Polmuz also produced percussion effects and wind instruments. The last drums were produced in the late 1990s, after which they completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team of the specialized percussion shop DrumStore from Gdynia decided to revive the Polmuz brand by purchasing full rights to its name.
Today Polmuz is a high-quality percussion set and ethnic instruments that are no way inferior to the best products of competitors. Bold design combined with proven solutions has made Polmuz storm not only the Polish percussion market, but also the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.
