QUALITY AND PROFESSIONALISM
Polmuz, like the top series of leading manufacturers, is treated individually, which means there can be no question of any defect or irregularity in the set. Each percussion element upon unpacking undergoes thorough inspection and is checked with a keen, experienced eye. We strive for Polmuz to be recognized as a premium product - all shell edges must be perfectly straight and smooth, and are additionally waxed to achieve an even richer sense of professionalism and comfort. As we well know, a perfectly smooth edge brings joy and happiness during the traditional ritual of running your hand along the edge before fitting a new head, not to mention the ease of tuning the drum and the perfect sound of the shell. Additionally, all drum hardware is checked because there is nothing more pleasant than smoothly threading screws into perfectly fitted lugs. After such thorough quality control, individual set components receive a custom sticker with a serial number, date and handwritten signature confirming the high quality of the drum. If a defect or irregularity is detected, the shell is rebuilt.
WARRANTY
Each Polmuz shell, after passing the test, receives a lifetime warranty, and the hardware used in Polmuz drums receives a 3-year warranty.

FEATURES
100% maple shells
The Maple series shells are made from 6 layers of maple with a total thickness of 5 mm. The highest priority in designing Polmuz drums was sound. Balanced mid and high tones provide great versatility across many music styles. The full, powerful character and rich resonance of the shells was achieved through the careful selection of maple plies and focus on shell formation and edge shape.
Edges
The 45° beveled edge ensures contact with the head at the optimal point on the flat surface, making tuning incredibly simple.
Many modern companies bevel the edge so that contact with the head falls on the rounded bearing edge of the head. This makes tuning very difficult, especially on so-called "rags".
Each edge in Polmuz drums has been sanded and additionally waxed, ensuring ideal contact between the head and shell. The consequence of this solution is pure tone across the full frequency range. Sharp edge finishing provides quick attack, selective and expressive tone.

Finish
The matte finish on Polmuz drums gives each set a unique look and distinctive tone. The lacquer used on the Maple series finish is of the highest quality.
Tube Lug
Tube Lugs are characteristic of all Polmuz drums. The unique Tube Lug design makes them look like traditional lugs, but the lug shell "floats" above the drum to minimize contact with the shell. This allows the entire drum to resonate across the full range of tones. To minimize the risk of the drums going out of tune, each features a long screw that sits deep in the lug. Additionally, each has double protection in the form of washers - metal and nylon - which guarantee tuning stability.
Chrome hardware
In Polmuz drums all hardware features a chrome finish. The beautiful appearance provides a sense of the highest quality of materials used and breaks with the brand's unfortunate reputation from years past. The cast logo on Polmuz shells is a true declaration of quality and style. Made from solid brass and chrome-plated, the Polmuz nameplate guarantees and is a testament to the highest level of craftsmanship of each drum.
Mounting system
The non-invasive mounting system ensures maximum resonance and stability regardless of conditions. The streamlined design makes it easy to position toms closer together, providing greater freedom and comfort. Additionally, parts made from aluminum ensure reduced weight.
Center lugs
The hooks in Polmuz sets are equipped with rubber pads that help protect their wooden rims from damage. In this setup, the hooks and rims form one cohesive unit so they don't separate or rattle, even with loose tuning.
Heads
Evans heads are used on the drums. G2 clear on toms and floors, and EMAD on bass drum. Any Evans membrane can be ordered for the set.
TT and FT resonant heads are thin Polmuz Clear. Snare reso is excellent Polmuz fiberskin head.
Snare heads additionally feature a wide dampening collar. The resonant heads are distinguished by a characteristic vintage-style head with the distinct Polmuz logo.

ABOUT THE BRAND
Polmuz - a legendary brand that produced the first Polish drums, known to every percussionist. The company was founded in the 1960s, and its facilities were located at 75/77 Grochowska Street in Warsaw. Besides drums, Polmuz also produced percussion and wind instruments. The last drums were produced in the late 1990s, and then completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team of the specialist percussion shop DrumStore from Gdynia decided to reactivate the Polmuz brand by acquiring full rights to its name.
Today Polmuz represents high-quality percussion sets and ethnic instruments, in no way inferior to the best products of the competition. Bold design combined with proven solutions has made Polmuz storm not only the Polish percussion market, but also the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.
