QUALITY AND PROFESSIONALISM
Polmuz, like the highest series from leading manufacturers, is treated individually, which means there can be no question of any defect or irregularity in the set. Each percussion element is carefully inspected upon unpacking and checked with a keen, expert eye. We strive for Polmuz to be recognized as a premium product. All drum shell edges must be perfectly straight and smooth and are additionally waxed to provide an even richer sense of professionalism and comfort. As we well know, a perfectly smooth edge brings joy and happiness during the traditional ritual of running your hand along the edge before fitting a new head, not to mention the ease of tuning the drum and the perfect sound of the shell. Additionally, all drum hardware is inspected because there is nothing more pleasant than screws turning smoothly into perfectly fitted lugs. After such thorough quality control, individual set components receive a custom label with a serial number, date and handwritten signature confirming the high quality of the drum. If any defect or irregularity is discovered, the shell is remade.
WARRANTY
Each Polmuz shell, after passing the test, receives a lifetime warranty and the hardware used in Polmuz drums receives a 3-year warranty.

FEATURES
100% maple shells
The Maple series shells are made from 6 layers of maple with a total thickness of 5 mm. Sound was the highest priority when designing Polmuz drums. Balanced midrange and high tones provide great versatility across many musical styles. The full, powerful character and rich resonance of the shells was achieved through carefully selected maple plies, as well as focus on shell forming and edge shaping.
Edges
The 45° edge cut ensures they contact the head at the optimal point on the flat surface, making tuning incredibly simple.
Many contemporary companies cut the edge so that contact with the head occurs on the head's curve. This greatly complicates tuning, especially on so-called "rag tuning"
Each edge on Polmuz brand drums has been sanded and additionally waxed, ensuring optimal contact between the head and shell. The result is clear tone across the full frequency range. Sharp contact edge finishing delivers fast attack, selective and expressive tone.

Finish
The matte finish of Polmuz drums gives each set a unique appearance and distinctive tone. The lacquer used for the Maple series Polmuz finish is of the highest quality.
Tube Lug
Tube Lug lugs are characteristic of all Polmuz drums. The unique Tube Lug design makes them look like traditional mounts, but the lug body "floats" above the shell, minimizing contact with the drum. This allows the entire shell to resonate across the full range of sounds. To minimize the risk of drum detuning, each lug features a long screw that seats deeply in the lug. Additionally, each features dual protection in the form of washers - metal and nylon - which guarantee tuning stability.
Chrome hardware
All hardware in Polmuz drums features chrome plating. The beautiful appearance conveys highest quality of materials used and breaks with the brand's unfortunate reputation from years past. The cast logo on Polmuz shells is a true declaration of quality and style. Made from solid brass and chrome-plated, the Polmuz lettering is a guarantee and signature of highest quality craftsmanship of each drum.
Mounting system
The non-invasive mounting system ensures maximum resonance and stability regardless of conditions. The streamlined design makes it easy to position toms closer together, providing greater freedom and comfort. Additionally, parts made from aluminum ensure lighter weight.
Center lugs
The lugs in the center positions of Polmuz sets are equipped with rubber pads that help protect their wooden rims from damage. In this arrangement, lugs and rims form one cohesive unit, so they don't separate or rattle, even with loose tuning.
Heads
Evans heads are used in the drums. G2 clear on toms and floors, and EMAD on bass drum. You can order any Evans heads for the set.
Tom and floor tom resonant heads are thin Polmuz Clear. The center resonant head is an excellent sounding Polmuz fiberskin.
The center heads additionally feature a wide muffling collar. The resonant heads are distinguished by a characteristic vintage-style head with distinctive Polmuz logo.

ABOUT THE BRAND
Polmuz - legendary brand manufacturing Poland's first drums, known to every percussionist. The company was founded in the 1960s, and its facilities were located at Grochowska 75/77 Street in Warsaw. In addition to drums, Polmuz also produced whistles and wind instruments. The last drums were made in the late 1990s, after which they completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team of the specialized percussion shop DrumStore from Gdynia decided to reactivate the Polmuz brand by purchasing the complete rights to its name.
Today Polmuz is a line of high-quality percussion sets and ethnic instruments, matching the best products of the competition. Bold design combined with proven solutions has allowed Polmuz to storm not only the Polish percussion market but also the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.
