QUALITY AND PROFESSIONALISM
Polmuz, like the highest series of leading manufacturers, is treated individually, which means there can be no question of any defect or irregularity in the set. Each piece of percussion is subjected to meticulous inspection after unpacking and checked with a keen, professional eye. We strive for Polmuz to be remembered as a premium product. All shell edges must be perfectly straight and smooth and are additionally waxed to create an even richer sense of professionalism and comfort. As we well know, a perfectly smooth edge brings joy and happiness during the traditional ritual of running your hand along the edge before installing a new head, not to mention the ease of drum tuning and the perfect sound of the shell. Additionally, all drum hardware is checked because there is nothing more pleasant than screws that turn smoothly into perfectly fitted lugs. After such thorough quality control, individual set elements receive an individual sticker with a serial number, date and handwritten signature confirming the high quality of the drum. In case of any defect or irregularity, the shell is remade.
WARRANTY
Each Polmuz shell, after passing the test positively, receives a lifetime warranty and the hardware used in Polmuz drums receives a 3-year warranty.

FEATURES
100% maple shells
The shells of the Maple series are made from 6 layers of maple with a total thickness of 5 mm. The highest priority in designing Polmuz drums was sound. Balanced mid and high tones ensure great versatility in many musical styles. The full, powerful character and rich resonance of the shells was achieved through the use of carefully selected maple layers and focus on shell forming and edge shape.
Edges
The 45° edge cut ensures optimal contact with the membrane on a flat surface, making tuning incredibly simple.
Many modern companies cut the edge so that contact with the membrane occurs on the rounded part of the head. This makes tuning very difficult, especially on so-called "rags"
Each edge in Polmuz drums has been sanded and additionally waxed, ensuring perfect contact between the membrane and shell. The consequence of this solution is clean sound throughout the frequency range. Sharp contact edge finish provides fast attack and selective, expressive ring.

Finish
The matte finish of Polmuz drums gives each set a unique look and distinctive sound. The lacquer used to finish the Maple Polmuz drums is of the highest quality.
Tube Lug
Tube Lugs are characteristic of all Polmuz drums. The unique Tube Lug construction makes them look like traditional mounts, but the lug shell "floats" above the drum to minimize contact with the shell. This allows the whole assembly to resonate across the full range of sounds. To minimize the risk of drums going out of tune, each has a long screw that sits deep in the lug. Additionally, each has dual protection in the form of washers - metal and nylon - which guarantee tuning stability.
Chrome hardware
In Polmuz drums, all hardware is finished with a chrome coating. The beautiful appearance gives a sense of highest quality materials used and breaks away from the brand's notorious reputation from years past. The cast logo on Polmuz shells is a true declaration of quality and style. Made from solid brass and chrome-plated, the Polmuz nameplate is a guarantee and a calling card of the highest level of craftsmanship in each drum.
Mounting system
The non-intrusive mounting system ensures maximum resonance and stability regardless of conditions. The streamlined construction makes it easy to position toms closer together, providing greater flexibility and comfort. Additionally, parts made from aluminum ensure lower weight.
Center mounting hooks
The hooks on Polmuz set centers are equipped with rubber washers that help protect their wooden rims from damage. In this configuration, hooks and rims form one cohesive unit so they don't separate or rattle, even with loose tuning.
Heads
Evans hand-selected heads are used in the drums. G2 clear on toms and floors and EMAD on BD. Any Evans membrane can be ordered for the set.
Resonant TT and FT membranes are thin Polmuz Clear. The center resonant head is an excellent sounding Polmuz fiberskin.
The center membranes additionally have a wide muffling collar. The resonant heads are distinguished by a characteristic vintage-style head with a prominent Polmuz logo.

ABOUT THE BRAND
Polmuz - the legendary brand that produced the first Polish drums, known to every percussionist. The company was founded in the 1960s, and its factories were located at Grochowska Street 75/77 in Warsaw. Besides drums, Polmuz also produced percussion and wind instruments. The last drums were made in the late 1990s, and then completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team of the specialist percussion shop DrumStore from Gdynia decided to reactivate the Polmuz brand by purchasing full rights to its name.
Today Polmuz is a high-quality percussion set and ethnic instruments that are in no way inferior to the best products of competitors. Bold design combined with proven solutions means that Polmuz is storming not only the Polish percussion market, but also the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.
