QUALITY AND PROFESSIONALISM
Like the highest series from leading manufacturers, Polmuz is treated individually, which means there can be no compromise on any defect or irregularity. Each percussion element undergoes careful inspection upon unpacking and is checked with a keen, professional eye. We strive for Polmuz to be recognized as a premium product - all shell edges must be perfectly level and smooth, and are additionally waxed to achieve an even greater sense of professionalism and comfort. As we well know, a perfectly smooth edge brings joy and happiness during the traditional ritual of running your hand along the edge before fitting a new head, not to mention the ease of tuning the drum and the perfect sound of the shell. Additionally, all drum hardware is checked because nothing is more pleasant than screws that turn smoothly into perfectly fitting lugs. After such thorough quality control, individual set elements receive individual stickers with serial numbers, dates, and handwritten signatures confirming the high quality of the drum. If any defect or irregularity is found, the shell is manufactured again.
WARRANTY
Each Polmuz shell, after passing the test successfully, receives a lifetime warranty, and the hardware used in Polmuz drums receives a 3-year warranty.

FEATURES
100% maple shells
The Maple series shells are made from 6 layers of maple with a total thickness of 5 mm. The highest priority in designing Polmuz drums was sound. Balanced mid and high tones provide great versatility across many music styles. The full, powerful character and rich resonance of the shells were achieved through carefully selected maple layers and focus on shell forming and edge shaping.
Edges
The edge cut at a 45° angle ensures optimal contact with the head on the flat surface, making tuning incredibly easy.
Many modern companies cut the edge so that contact with the head falls on the rounded part of the head. This makes tuning very difficult, especially on so-called "loose" tuning.
Each edge in Polmuz drums has been sanded and additionally waxed, ensuring perfect head-to-shell contact. The result is clear tone throughout the frequency range. Sharp edge finish at the contact point provides fast attack, selective and distinct sustain.

Finish
The matte finish on Polmuz drums gives each set a unique appearance and distinctive sound. The lacquer used on Maple Polmuz drums is of the highest quality.
Tube Lug
Tube Lugs are characteristic of all Polmuz drums. The unique Tube Lug construction makes them look like traditional mounts, but the lug shell "floats" above the drum to minimize shell contact. This allows the entire drum to resonate across the full sound range. To minimize the risk of drums going out of tune, each features a long screw that sits deep in the lug. Additionally, each has double protection in the form of metal and nylon washers that guarantee tuning stability.
Chromium-plated hardware
All hardware in Polmuz drums is finished with a chromium coating. The beautiful appearance gives a sense of highest quality materials and breaks with the brand's unfortunate reputation from years past. The cast logo on Polmuz shells is a true declaration of quality and style. Made of solid brass and chrome-plated, the Polmuz lettering is a guarantee and signature of the highest level of craftsmanship in every drum.
Mounting system
The non-invasive mounting system ensures maximum resonance and stability regardless of conditions. The streamlined construction makes it easy to position toms closer together, providing greater freedom and comfort. Additionally, parts made of aluminum ensure reduced weight.
Center stand hooks
The hooks on Polmuz set stands are equipped with rubber pads that help protect wooden rims from damage. In this arrangement, hooks and rims form one cohesive unit, so they don't separate or rattle even with loose tuning.
Heads
Polmuz drums feature Evans heads. G2 clear on toms and floors, and EMAD on bass drum. Any Evans heads can be ordered for the set.
TT and FT resonant heads are thin Polmuz Clear. The center resonant head is an excellent Polmuz fiberskin.
Center heads additionally feature a wide muffling collar. Meanwhile, resonant heads are distinguished by a characteristic vintage-style head with a distinctive Polmuz logo.

ABOUT THE BRAND
Polmuz - a legendary brand producing Poland's first drums, known to every percussionist. The company was founded in the 1960s, and its facilities were located at Grochowska 75/77 in Warsaw. Besides drums, Polmuz also produced percussion instruments and wind instruments. The last drums were made in the late 1990s, and then completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team of the specialist percussion shop DrumStore from Gdynia decided to reactivate the Polmuz brand by purchasing complete rights to its name.
Today Polmuz offers high-quality percussion sets and ethnic instruments that in no way differ from the best competition products. Bold design combined with proven solutions has made Polmuz storm not only the Polish percussion market, but also the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.
