QUALITY AND PROFESSIONALISM

Polmuz, like the highest series from leading manufacturers, is treated individually, meaning there can be no defects or irregularities in the set. Each element of the drum kit is meticulously inspected upon unpacking and checked with a discerning eye. We strive for Polmuz to be remembered as a premium product—all shell edges must be perfectly straight and smooth and are additionally waxed to achieve an even richer sense of professionalism and comfort. As we know well, a perfectly smooth edge brings joy and happiness during the traditional ritual of running your hand along the edge before installing a new head, not to mention the ease of tuning the drum and the perfect sound of the shell. Additionally, all drum hardware is inspected because there's nothing more pleasant than smoothly turning screws into perfectly fitted lugs. After such thorough quality control, each set component receives an individual sticker with a serial number, date, and a handwritten signature confirming the high quality of the drum. If any defect or irregularity is found, the shell is remade.

WARRANTY

Each Polmuz shell, after passing the test successfully, receives a lifetime warranty, and the hardware used in Polmuz drums receives a 3-year warranty.

100% Tulipwood Shells

The Tulipwood series shells are made from 6 layers of American tulipwood with a total thickness of 6.9 mm. The highest priority in designing Polmuz drums was sound. Balanced midtones and highs provide great versatility across many musical styles. The specific nature of tulipwood gives the drums a characteristic sound you won't experience in any other drums. The focused and clear sound of the shells was achieved through carefully selected layers of tulipwood, as well as attention to shell forming and edge shaping.

Edges

The 45° bearing edge ensures that the shells contact the head at the optimal point. Each edge on Polmuz drums has been sanded and additionally waxed, ensuring ideal head-to-shell contact. The result is clear tone across the full frequency range. Sharp bearing edges on toms deliver quick attack and short sustain, while the rounded edge on bass drums generates unique, warm vintage tone.

Finish

The lacquered finish of Polmuz drums gives each set a unique look and exceptional sound. The lacquer used on Tulipwood Polmuz drums is of the highest quality. Tube Lug

Tube lugs are characteristic of all Polmuz drums. The unique Tube Lug construction makes them look like traditional mounts, but the lug "floats" above the shell to minimize contact with the drum. This allows the entire shell to resonate across the full range of sounds. To minimize tuning instability, each lug features a long screw that sits deep within it. Additionally, each lug has dual protection in the form of metal and nylon washers, guaranteeing tuning stability.

Chrome Hardware

Bass Drum Claws

ABOUT THE BRAND

Polmuz - a legendary brand producing the first Polish drums, known to every drummer. The company was founded in the 1960s, and its facilities were located at 75/77 Grochowska Street in Warsaw. In addition to drums, Polmuz also produced whistles and wind instruments. The last drums were produced in the late 1990s, after which they completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, a team from the specialist drum shop DrumStore in Gdynia decided to reactivate the Polmuz brand by purchasing full rights to its name.

Today Polmuz represents high-quality drum sets and ethnic instruments that are in no way inferior to the best products of competitors. Bold design combined with proven solutions have allowed Polmuz to rapidly capture not only the Polish drum market but also the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.
