The Dark Hammer series finish is very distinctive - featuring characteristic stripes and visible hand forging. The cymbals are very responsive to dynamics, and despite their quite dark, matte character of overtones, they can sound in a strongly rock style. Playing on the surface of the cymbal is very earthy, low, dark, with a very pleasant tone quality.
