Dark Hammer is an excellent and original series from Turkish, combining dark sound with quite a unique character. The finish of the Dark Hammer series is very original - featuring characteristic stripes and visible hand forging. The cymbals are very responsive to dynamics, and despite their fairly dark, matte color, they can deliver a strongly rock-oriented sound. Playing on the cymbal surface is heavily earthy, low, dark, with a very pleasant tone.

Turkish uses exactly the same cymbal manufacturing techniques as Istanbul Agop and Mehmet, achieving an incredible effect comparable to and in some aspects surpassing these manufacturers.
