Dark Hammer is an excellent and original series in the Turkish lineup, combining dark sound with quite a unique character. The Dark Hammer series finish is very distinctive - characteristic stripes and visible hand-forging. The cymbals are very responsive to dynamics, and despite the quite dark, matte sound color, they can respond in a strongly rock style. Playing on the cymbal surface is very earthy, low, dark, with a very pleasant tone.

Turkish uses exactly the same cymbal manufacturing techniques as Istanbul Agop and Mehmet, achieving an amazing effect comparable to and in some aspects surpassing these manufacturers.
