Dark Hammer is an excellent and original series in Turkish's lineup, combining dark tones with quite a unique character. The finish of the Dark Hammer series is particularly original - featuring distinctive stripes and visible hand-forging. The cymbals are very responsive to dynamics, and despite their fairly dark, matte tone, they can deliver a strongly rock-oriented sound. Playing on the cymbal surface is earthy, low, dark, with a very pleasant tone.

Turkish uses the exact same cymbal manufacturing techniques as Istanbul Agop and Mehmet, achieving an amazing effect comparable to and in some aspects surpassing those manufacturers.
