John Blackwell was recognized as one of the most astonishing and influential drummers of his era. He joined the roster of Turkish Cymbals artists to pass on his tremendous knowledge and skill. His influence on a huge number of fans left a permanent mark on the global drumming market. Blackwell was known for his incredible versatility and professionalism. About the brand

At the TURKISH forge, all cymbals are formed and hammered by an experienced craftsman drawing on knowledge built up over hundreds of years. The result is a unique character in every cymbal, ringing out with an original Turkish coloring. These cymbals have a soul of their own, which cannot be said of products hammered out en masse, often from base materials. Of course, this cymbal, like other Turkish cymbals, is made from B20 bronze alloy. At this price you will not find cymbals this good from other reputable manufacturers, however hard you look.
