The dome lathing affects the sound concentration, while the brass itself is thin and relatively light. The cymbals undergo additional hand-hammering, gaining a darker, richer, and more traditional sound.

Turkish uses the exact same manufacturing techniques as Istanbul Agop and Mehmet, achieving an incredible effect comparable to and in some aspects surpassing these manufacturers.
