This series is one of the most labor-intensive series, which is evident in every inch. The top features a raw, unlathed bell, a lathe mark on the edge, and the center of the cymbal is finished in traditional style. The bottom side is the exact opposite of this process: the bell and cymbal edge are lathed, while the center of the cymbal is left in its natural state after hand-hammering. The lathed areas are gently polished, resulting in a beautiful sound from the cymbals - a noble tone that vibrates in the air long after the cymbals have faded. Dynamic, warm, excellent control. Xanthos Jazz represents the darker side of the Xanthos series sound – perfect for jazz, rock, and alternative music.

Turkish uses exactly the same cymbal manufacturing techniques as Istanbul Agop and Mehmet, achieving an incredible effect comparable to and in some aspects surpassing these manufacturers.
