This series is one of the most labor-intensive series, which is evident in every detail. The top features a raw, unlathed bell, a lathing stripe on the edge, and the center of the cymbal is finished in traditional finish. The bottom side is the exact opposite of this process: the bell and cymbal edge are lathed, while the center of the cymbal is left in its natural state after hand-hammering. The lathed areas are gently polished, resulting in beautiful cymbal sound - a noble tone that vibrates in the air long after the cymbals fade. Dynamic, warm, excellent in control. Xanthos Jazz are the darker side of the Xanthos series sound – perfect for jazz, rock, alternative music.
