Zephyros is one of the darkest sounding series from Turkish. Deep lathing and dense hammer strikes, unpolished surfaces without scraping and low weight – thanks to this, Zephyros responds instantly in the low register. Explosive, dynamic crashes shower dark harmonics, have a warm tone and long sustain. The hihat is a dark, vintage cymbal with a dry and "brittle" sound. Sounds exceptionally well in dynamic playing, where it can shine with fierce sizzle and beautiful, dark harmonic coloration.

The series is recommended primarily for jazz, Latin music, and experimental music.
