Turkish Zephyros Ride 22"

Zephyros is one of the darkest-sounding series from Turkish. Deep lathing and dense hammering, unpolished surfaces with no machining, and low weight give Zephyros an instant response in the low registers. Explosive, dynamic crashes shower dark overtones, with a warm timbre and long sustain. The hi-hat is a dark, vintage cymbal with a dry, "crisp" sound. It works very well in dynamic playing, where it can shine with a fierce hiss and a beautiful, dark overtone colour.

The series is recommended primarily for jazz, Latin music, and experimental music.

Unlike other manufacturers, Turkish only needs a photo of the defect. If your cymbal cracks, you send us a photo of it, and the damaged cymbal stays with you until it's replaced with a new one.

About the brand

At the TURKISH forge, all cymbals are formed and hammered by an experienced craftsman drawing on knowledge built up over hundreds of years. The result is a unique character in every cymbal, ringing out with an original Turkish coloring. These cymbals have a soul of their own, which cannot be said of products hammered out en masse, often from base materials. Of course, this cymbal, like other Turkish cymbals, is made from B20 bronze alloy. At this price you will not find cymbals this good from other reputable manufacturers, however hard you look.
