Zephyros is one of Turkish's darkest sounding series. Deep lathing and dense hammer forging, unpolished surfaces without any scraping, and light weight – this gives Zephyros an immediate response in the lower registers. Explosive, dynamic crashes deliver dark overtones, feature a warm tone and long sustain. The hi-hat is a dark, vintage cymbal with a dry and "crispy" sound. It sounds excellent in dynamic playing, where it can shine with aggressive sizzle and beautiful, dark undertones.

This series is recommended especially for jazz, Latin music, and experimental styles.
