Zephyros is one of the darkest sounding series from Turkish. Deep lathing and dense hammer forging, unpolished surfaces without scraping and low weight – thanks to this, Zephyros responds instantly in the lower registers. Explosive, dynamic crashes scatter dark harmonics, have a warm tone and long sustain. The hi-hat is a dark, vintage cymbal with a dry and "crisp" sound. It sounds very good in dynamic playing, where it can shine with fierce sizzle and beautiful, dark overtones.

The series is recommended especially for jazz, Latin music, and experimental playing.
